This event takes place in front of the main stage at 1:30pm.

The game’s objective is simple—you must thaw out, unfold, and wear a frozen t-shirt. Even though this game might sound easy, it’s a challenge to complete. Who will be the first to put on a frosty shirt and take home the prize?

8th Annual Beard & Mustache Competition

Judging takes place at the main stage at 3:30pm.
For the eighth year, participants will groom, style, and dress their facial hair in the hope of being named “best in show” in the Beard and Mustache Competition at Swine & Stein Brewfest. Participants should be at the stage at 3:15pm. We are going to keep it simple. The crowd will cheer for their favorites so bring your best beard and friends to cheer you on.

Maine State Rock, Paper Scissors Championship

Preliminary Rounds: 3pm in the park next to Johnson Hall

Finals: 3:30pm In Front of the Stage

The unofficially official state championships for Rock, Paper, Scissors. Sign up for your spot on the bracket for your chance to be crowned the state (or at least the Brewfest) champion at the event info tent near the main gate. Preliminary rounds will being at 3pm in the park next to the Blind Pig Tavern. And then the finalists go head-to-head in front of the stage at 3:45pm after the Beard and Mustache Competition.

Stop by all day long at the games area in the post office parking lot near the stage to try your luck at a game of giant Jenga, Corn Hole, Pass The Pigs.
